Spearheaded by Let’s Get Together! the Community Learning Hub (CLH), was created to empower parents and caregivers to become more engaged in their children’s education. We also aim to equip students with the tools necessary to develop self-resilience, independence, life-building and 21st Century learning skills.

CLH is mobilizing community leaders and subject matter experts to deliver global knowledge through engaging events, workshops, presentations and activities. We are committed to exploring funding options to make their programs and services available to everyone.

PRO Grant Applications 
We help schools deliver Parents Reaching Out (PRO) Grant eligible projects, from application to evaluation.

UPCOMING WORKSHOPS AND SPECIAL EVENTS

Home Alone Safety Workshop  

The Home Alone Safety for Kids program helps children and their families get ready for their child’s first steps towards independence and being without adult supervision. This safety program is ideally suited for children aged 9-12 years old.

Course content includes: street smarts and bike safety, online and internet safety, snacking and kitchen safety, and basic first aid skills. The unique delivery model uses fun digital and traditional games to reach children with all learning styles.

All participants will receive the Home Alone Safety For Kids manual and wallet-sized certificate of attendance.  

Cost: $30 per student plus online processing fee.

Explore financial independence, earn money, & be smart about it for Grade 9 Students  (Please note two dates)

Let’s Get Together in collaboration with PennyDrops will be hosting free workshops on financial literacy, covering concepts every student should be equipped with before entering their post-secondary education as well as the workforce. 

With a ratio of one university level mentor for every five students, the peer-to-peer approach fosters an open learning environment.

The PennyDrops curriculum is tailored for an engaging learning experience that can serve as a resource in the future!
